La educación contribuye al desarrollo de cada persona en cuerpo y mente, es uno de los principales motores del desarrollo socioeconómico, el mecanismo más importante de la movilidad social ascendente, así como el igualador de oportunidades para mejorar el nivel de vida de todos.

Parece ser que ahora nos hemos dejado llevar por este mundo rápido de consumismo, donde es más importante que nuestros hijos tengan diversas actividades deportivas y artísticas, que su formación moral.
En ocasiones, el exceso de trabajo de los padres y las largas jornadas de actividades extracurriculares de los hijos no permiten una convivencia familiar como la que tuvimos nosotros, de niños, con nuestros padres, y se deja la formación de valores en manos de la escuela. De allí la importancia de hacer una correcta selección de la misma, de acuerdo con las preferencias y estilo de vida de cada familia.
Los valores familiares deben mostrarse no sólo en el entorno de nuestra casa, sino también en la escuela, nuestro segundo hogar. Por ello es importante seleccionar un colegio que comulgue con nuestros ideales o con lo que deseamos para nuestros hijos.
