Jimena Navarrete Rosete nació el 22 de Febrero de 1988 en Guadalajara, Jalisco. Fue coronada Nuestra Belleza Jalisco en Guadalajara, el 16 de Julio de 2009, y Nuestra Belleza México el 20 de Septiembre de 2009 en la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán. Tras ser coronada como la mujer más bella del universo a los 22 años de edad, con 1.74 metros de estatura y un carisma y seguridad sensacionales que conquistaron a los jueces en la sesión de preguntas y respuestas, estará nuevamente en nuestro país durante este mes patrio como invitada especial en Nuestra Belleza México.

En realidad, tenemos ante nosotros a una niña de familia. Sus primeros estudios fueron en el Instituto de la Veracruz, posteriormente estudió en el Cervantes Costa Rica, donde terminó la preparatoria; al entrar al certamen, cursaba Licenciatura en Nutrición, en la universidad UNIVA.
Su carrera hacia la corona como la mujer más bella del mundo empieza mucho antes. A los 16 años hace su primera pasarela luciendo un traje rojo, el mismo color con el que fue coronada.

No cabe duda de que también gozará de buena suerte, ya que su título como Miss Universo le reportará lujosos regalos y oportunidades, tales como un apartamento de lujo en Manhattan. Diamond Nexus Labs, la firma que diseñó la corona, la vestirá en cada acto oficial, y el hotel Mandalay Resort de Las Vegas, le ofrece una habitación gratis durante todo su mandato.

Ella se mudará a Nueva York y participará en las labores altruistas de la Organización Miss Universo, propiedad de Donald Trump. Mientras radique en Estados Unidos estudiará arte dramático en la Academia de Cine de Nueva York.

This year ́s Miss Universe is Jimena Navarrete Rosete, born on February 22nd, 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
She was crowned Miss Jalisco on July 16th, 2009 in Guadalajara, and then Miss Mexico on September 20th, 2009 in the nationwide contest held in Mérida, Yucatán. Jimena will be back in Mexico during the month of September as a special guest in this year ́s Miss Mexico contest.

At the young age of 22 Jimena has been crowned “the most beautiful woman in the universo”. She is 1.74 meters (5 feet 8 inches) tall and has a natural charisma and calm assuredness that won over the judges in the question and answer phase.

She was raised in a warm and supportive family. As a child she studied in the Instituto Veracruz grade school, then went on to the Cervantes Costa Rica high school. Upon entering the Miss Universe contest Ms. Navarrette was studying towards a bachelor ́s degree in Nutrition at the UNIVA University.

Her first pageant experience was at the tender age of 16, and in a strange coincidence her gown that day was the same color of red that she wore when winning the Miss Universe title.

Some of the luxurious benefits of winning Miss Universe that Jimena will enjoy are: a deluxe apartment in Manhattan, diamonds from Nexus Labs (the same company that designed the wonderful Miss Universe crown), as well as a free suite at the Mandalay Resort in Las Vegas for the duration of her title.
She will move at least for the time being to New York in order to fulfill the charitable duties that are part of the Miss Universe Organization, which is owned by the famous entrepreneur Donald Trump. During her reign as Miss Universe she will study acting at the New York Film Academy.
