Bahía de Banderas, como uno de los grandes centros turísticos del País, fue digno anfitrión de la presentación del libro conmemorativo de los 35 años de la fundación de FONATUR, obra que destaca la importancia de la institución, así como los logros y alcances en el futuro del sector turístico. Entre las personalidades que se dieron cita el Ing. Miguel Gómez Mont, director general de la dependencia y el Sr. Pedro Dondé, uno de los fundadores de la misma. Fueron acompañados por Ney González, Gobernador De Nayarit, Héctor M. Paniagua, Presidente Municipal de Bahía de Banderas, Carlos Mora, vice-presidente del Grupo Mayan y del senador Raúl Mejía.

Banderas Bay, one of the country’s major tourist centers, was a worthy host of the presentation of the book to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the founding of FONATUR. This piece of work highlights the importance of the institution as well as the accomplishments and achievements of the future of the tourist sector. Among the personalities who got together was engineer Miguel Gomez Mont, General Director of the FONATUR government agency and Mr. Pedro Donde, one it its founders. They were accompanied by Ney González, Governor of Nayarit, Hector M. Paniagua, Mayor of Bahía de Banderas, Carlos Mora, Vice President of the Grupo Mayan and Senator Raul Mejia.
