Becas Vallarta A. C. y American México Foundation, encabezadas por Linda Ascárate, Pat Bendix, Polly Vicars y Linda Wirth organizaron un tour para un grupo de invitados especiales, con el fin de darles a conocer los programas y sistemas de varios centros educativos de la localidad y así crear conciencia a las personas sobre las necesidades de los estudiantes. En la popular ETI fueron recibidos cálidamente por maestros y alumnos becados, a los que se les otorgaron uniformes y todos los artículos educativos necesarios para continuar con sus estudios durante el año escolar, en la Escuela Regional Preparatoria la “PREPA”, donde existen más de cien beneficiados. Los invitados quedaron impresionados con el programa de estudio y convivieron un momento con los estudiantes; en su última parada del recorrido llegaron al Centro Universitario de la Costa, CUC, donde, al finalizar su periodo educativo, varios jóvenes se graduarán en las licenciaturas que cursan. De esta manera, la Fundación Becas Vallarta y American México Foundatión esperan ampliar la cantidad de donadores.

Becas Vallarta AC and the American Mexico Foundation headed by Linda Ascarate, Pat Bendix, Polly Vicars and Linda Wirth organized a tour for a group of special guests so that several educational institutions of the locality could learn about the programs and systems, thus creating awareness among people about the needs of the students. At the popular ETI school, they were warmly received by teachers and students with a scholarship who were given uniforms and all the educational items needed to continue their studies during the school year. At the regional high school, the ‘Prepa’, they were impressed by the study program and shared some time with the students. And for the last stop of their circuit they arrived at the Centro Universitario de la Costa CUC (Coastal University Center) where several of the scholarship recipients, upon finishing their educational period, will graduate in the courses they studied.
