Una exhibición de arte contemporáneo japonés se llevará a cabo del 1º al 15 de Julio en el Centro de Convenciones; se expondrán alrededor de 300 trabajos realizados por 200 artistas japoneses, entre ellos, su tradicional caligrafía, bordados, kimonos, cerámicas, pinturas contemporáneas y arte tridimensional. Además, se incluirán presentaciones de danza y proyecciones de cine japonés; “Los Tambores de Okinawa” será el único evento con un costo de $200 a beneficio de la Cruz Roja de Japón. No sólo tendremos éste evento. Uno mayor engalanará el Centro de Convenciones: el certamen de Nuestra Belleza México, 2011, que inicia el 13 de agosto, transmitiendo totalmente en vivo a todo el país y al continente. La segunda fase se realizará el 18 de agosto y por último, la tercera fase, será el día 20, cuando se dará a conocer a la ganadora, quien será coronada por la actual Miss Universo, Ximena Navarrete, un orgullo jalisciense.

Puerto Vallarta Convention Center, home to major events
An exhibition of contemporary Japanese art will be held from July 1st to the 15th at the Convention Center of our city. About 300 artworks by 200 Japanese artists will be exhibited, including their traditional calligraphy, embroidery, kimonos, ceramics, contemporary paintings and tridimensional art. Dance performances and Japanese film screenings, will also be included, the “Drums of Okinawa” will be the only event with a $ 200 pesos cover, to benefit the Japanese Red Cross. Besides this wonderful event, a major one will be held: the beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2011, which will begin August 13th, broadcasting live to the whole country and the continent. The second phase will take place August 18th, and finally, the third phase will be held on the 20th, when the winner will be announced and crowned by Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete, proudly from Jalisco.
