¡Vaya manera que tiene la Asociación de Charros del Municipio de Puerto Vallarta de celebrar el 23 aniversario de su fundación!; fueron tres días de festejos, comenzando por su tradicional desfile, en el cual participaron más de cien charros. Luego, las lucidoras competencias, así como las charreadas y los eventos de exhibición. Como siempre, Toyota fue el patrocinador de este magno evento mostrando, una vez más, su interés por apoyar las tradiciones mexicanas, en este caso, a la charrería de Puerto Vallarta. Los festejos se llevaron a cabo en el lienzo Miguel “Prieto” Ibarría, donde cada año se nota una mayor afluencia de familias que se divierten sanamente con el gallardo Deporte Nacional. Y no es para menos, pues ahí se llevó acabo el octavo Campeonato Nacional Charro Puerto Vallarta 2010, se presentaron los 35 mejores equipos del País y se pusieron en juego más de 800 mil pesos en premios, además de la participación de dos equipos de escaramuza. El evento estuvo encabezado por el Sr. Raúl Díaz Carrillo, Presidente del comité organizador.

What a way to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the foundation of the Charro Association of the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta! The three days of festivities started with the traditional parade, where more than a hundred charros participated, followed by flaunting competitions, as well as rodeos and exhibition events. As usual, Toyota was the sponsor of this grand event showing once again their interest in supporting the Mexican traditions, in this case, Puerto Vallarta’s rodeo sport. The festivities took place at the rodeo rink Miguel “Prieto” Ibarria, where each year one can notice an increased number of families having a good time in a healthy way with this brave National Sport. And with good reason, because the eighth National Charro Championship Puerto Vallarta 2010 took place there. The 35 best teams of the country presented themselves and over 800 thousand dollars in prizes were put into play, in addition to the participation of two teams of Mexican horsewomen. The event was headed by the President of the organizing committee, Mr. Raul Diaz Carrillo.
