Fondos para un gran proyecto: Vela juvenil

Como cada dos veces al año, se organizó una cena en Vallarta Yacht Club Marina en Nuevo Vallarta, para dar inicio y fin de temporada al programa en Vela y recaudar fondos de apoyo a los equipos locales que contenderán por la presea en la categoría juvenil. El menú que se ofreció desató ovaciones al Chef por parte de todos los asistentes, mientras el acompañamiento de música clásica en vivo armonizó la digestión y amenizó la velada. Durante el evento se recaudaron fondos gracias al pago de la entrada, a subastas para paseos en barco, donaciones, además del trabajo que realizaron los niños al vender boletos para rifar diferentes premios que posteriormente se entregaron a los comensales. El equipo de The VIP desea un gran triunfo a la Selección Estatal de Nayarit en Vela Juvenil este próximo mayo, en la Olimpiada Nacional, que tendrá lugar en Progreso, Yucatán. ¡¡Mucha suerte!!

 Funds for a Grand Project: Juvenile Mailing 

Following the twice a year dinner tradition to mark the opening or end of the sailing season program, a dinner was organized at the Vallarta Yacht Club Marina in Nuevo Vallarta to raise funds to support those local teams competing for the awards in the juvenile category. The menu that was offered sparked ovations for the chef by all attendees, while the classical live background music harmonized digestion and enlivened the evening.

During the event money was raised thanks to an admission charge, donations and an auction for boat trips, as well as the work carried out by the youth. They sold raffle tickets for various prizes which subsequently were handed over to the diners.

The VIP’s staff wishes the Nayarit Juvenile Sailing Team a great triumph during the National Olympics, held in Progreso, Yucatán next May. Good luck!
