10° aniversario del Museo de Arte Peter Gray

El Patronato del Museo de Arte Peter Gray y el Centro Universitario de la Costa, celebraron el 10° Aniversario del museo con canapés, quesos y vino.
El Museo fue abierto en 2002 con 16 obras de su colección privada y ha crecido hasta poseer más de 120 obras que abarcan el espíritu de artistas mexicanos trascendentales como Tamayo, Coronel, Toledo, Cuevas, Felguérez, entre otros, un orgullo para el patronato que ha seguido fielmente el deseo de Peter Gray.
El Filántropo y creador del museo siempre quiso que la comunidad estudiantil y el público en general, tuvieran un encuentro con el arte que, quizás en otra condición, no sería posible apreciar.
El objetivo del museo es proporcionar a los estudiantes una exposición de arte con la intención de despertar su curiosidad y sensibilizarlos, además de las actividades lúdicas que se les comparten.
El Director Administrativo del CUC, Carlos Palafox, agradeció el apoyo que se le ha brindado a esta causa tan noble, por ser parte importante del proyecto Museo Peter Gray.
10th anniversary of the Peter Gray Art Museum
The Board of Trustees of the Peter Gray Art Museum and the Centro Universitario de la Costa, celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Museum with canapés, cheese and wine.
The Museum was opened in 2002 with 16 works of Peter´s private collection and has grown to more than 120 works that encompass the spirit of transcendental Mexican artists like Tamayo, Coronel, Toledo, Cuevas and Felguérez, among others, a source of pride for the patronage that has faithfully followed the desire of Peter Gray.
The philanthropist and creator of the Museum always wanted that the student community and the general public had an encounter with art that, perhaps in another condition, would not be possible to appreciate.
The Museum aims to provide students with an art exhibition with the intention of awakening their curiosity and raise awareness, as well as recreational activities.
The Administrative Director of the Centro Universitario de la Costa, Carlos Palafox, thanked the support that has been given to this noble cause and for being an important part of the Peter Gray Museum´s project.
