13vo Aniversario de Alas de Águilas

El pasado 18 de octubre, la Fundación Alas de Águila llevó a cabo la ya tradicional cena-subasta, para celebrar su 13avo aniversario, como solo ellos saben hacerlo: “Generando recursos para ayudar”. Gracias al apoyo de empresarios altruistas y del generoso corazón de los voluntarios y amigos de la fundación, fue posible realizar la magna subasta con la cual se recaudaron más de $ 21,000 dólares, que serán donados a beneficio de las Asociaciones Civiles de Vallarta.
El señor Robert Kistner ha sido pieza fundamental de esta iniciativa por 13 años, durante los cuales la “Fundación Alas de Águila” ha apoyado a miles de familias en condición vulnerable a través de las asociaciones civiles.
Es por eso que la fundación decide honrar su generosidad, otorgándole el premio James McCarthy 2012, también dando su nombre al nuevo proyecto: Becas Robert Kistner para niños”, mediante el que se otorgarán 2,000 dólares a niños estudiantes de Vallarta,  escogiendo por este año a los niños de Volcanes; 2,000 dólares para los de Los Cabos, 500 dólares para los de Cancún y 500 dólares para los de Loreto, lo que hace un total de 5,000 dólares presupuestados este año para dicho proyecto. Se contó con el apoyo de la Presidenta del DIF, Magaly Fregoso, así como de grandes personalidades del altruismo como la Sra. Eva Contreras, Bob Kistner y su esposa Ana, César Sánchez, Deborah Mac Pherson, presidenta de la fundación, Danilo Rottigni y Sara Cardona. ¡Enhorabuena!
Eagles Wings 13th Anniversary
Last October 18th, Eagle Wings Foundation carried out the traditional dinner-auction, to celebrate its 13th anniversary, as only they know how: “Generating resources for help”. Thanks to the support of entrepreneurs’ altruistic and generous heart of the volunteers and friends of the foundation, it was possible to conduct the auction which raised more than $ 21.000 dollars, which will be donated to benefit different Civil Associations of Vallarta. Mr Robert Kistner has been a fundamental piece of this initiative for 13 years, during which the “Eagle Wings Foundation” has supported thousands of families in vulnerable condition through civil associations.
That is why the Foundation decided to honor his generosity, giving him the James McCarthy 2012 award, also by giving his name to a new project: “Robert Kistner Scholarships for children”, through which students of Volcanes, a Vallarta neighborhood, will be awarded U$ 2,000, U$ 2,000 will go for the childrens of Los Cabos, U$ 500 for Cancun and U$ 500 for Loreto, which makes a total of U$ 5,000 budgeted this year for the project.
They also relied on the support of the President of the DIF, Magaly Fregoso, as well as of great personalities of the altruism such as Ms. Eva Contreras, Bob Kistner and his wife Ana, Cesar Sanchez, Deborah Macpherson, president of the foundation, Danilo Rottigni and Sara Cardona.
