“KARAT VODKA BARTENDER TOURNAMENT MX/2013”
Para explorar las posibilidades de la coctelería más original de Vallarta se llevó a cabo este torneo sin precedentes, cuya semifinal tuvo como sede el Hotel Hard Rock de Nuevo Vallarta. Alrededor de 80 de los mejores bartenders de Bahía de Banderas se reunieron ahí y aprovecharon la oportunidad de demostrar su creatividad y talento en la creación de cocteles, en un lujo de exotismo y gala de las más decantadas técnicas de mixología. El jurado usó los criterios de originalidad, presentación, estilo, aroma y sabor para escoger los mejores. Por otra parte, para los elaborados con la técnica de mixología molecular, incluyeron los criterios anteriores, pero además calificaron texturas y efectos visuales del coctel. El torneo es organizado por Madrileña, una de las productoras y distribuidoras de vinos y licores más importantes de México. Para la justa final pretende reunir a un total de 300 bartenders de todo el país, in Cancún.
Karat Vodka Bartender Tournament MX/2013
With the goal of exploring the possibilities of Vallarta’s most original cocktails this unprecedented tournament was held, which semifinal was hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel in Nuevo Vallarta. Approximately eighty of the best bartenders of Bahía de Banderas gathered there and took advantage of the situation to show-off their creativity and talent in the creation of cocktails, in a grand display of the exotic luxury and class of the most propelled mixology techniques. The jury used a criteria based on originality, presentation, style, aroma and flavor to choose the best cocktails. On the other hand, the cocktails prepared using the technique of molecular mixology included the former criterion plus the addition of texture and visual effects produced by them. Madrileña, one of Mexico’s most important producers and distributors of whines and liquors sponsored the tournament. For the final showdown the company intends to gather a total of three hundred bartenders from around the country, in Cancun.
