40 años de Ciudades Hermanas Puerto Vallarta- Santa Bárbara
La Asociación Ciudades Hermanas Puerto Vallarta-Santa Bárbara fundada en el respeto, amistad y amor por México, celebra 40 años de apoyar a las comunidades más susceptibles de Puerto Vallarta y sus alrededores; a través de diversos programas y actividades que fortalecen el sentido comunitario de nuestros hermanos de la Unión Norte Americana para con el Pueblo Mexicano. En este año y por segunda ocasión, han emprendido el Proyecto 3×1 junto con el Club Jalisciense y Club Rotario, programa con el que se ha beneficiado recientemente a la región de Cabo Corrientes con la creación de la Clínica de Rehabilitación “Máximo Cornejo” en Boca de Tomatlán. Además, por octava ocasión se realizó el Festival I Madonnari, tradición con la que se trata de despertar el sentido artístico de los Vallartenses, involucrando a artistas locales y la niñez en general, a ser parte del proceso de creación artística, fortaleciendo con ello el sentido comunitario en Vallarta. ¡Felicitaciones para todo el comité organizador!
40 Years of Sister Cities Puerto Vallarta – Santa Barbara
The Sister Cities Association Puerto Vallarta-Santa Barbara founded on respect, friendship and love for Mexico, celebrates 40 years of support to those communities most susceptible of Puerto Vallarta and its surroundings; through various programs and activities that reinforce the sense of community with our brothers and sisters of the North American Union to the Mexican people. This year and for the second occasion, the project 3×1 was undertaken along with the Club Jalisciense and Rotary Club, with the program that has been recently benefited to the region of Cabo Corriente with the creation of the Rehabilitation Clinic «Maximo Cornejo» in Boca de Tomatlan. In addition, for the eighth time the I Madonnari Festival took place, a tradition with which the artistic sense of Vallarta is awaken, involving local artists and children in general, to be a part of the process of artistic creation, thereby strengthening the sense of community in Vallarta.
