Un orgullo vallartense en el deporte internacional

Ximena Plácito Goche, con 23 años de edad y nacída en Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, actualmente es Licenciada en Cultura Física y Deportes especializada en Entrenamiento Personalizado, con conocimientos de Gestión Deportiva, Educación Física, Entrenamiento Deportivo y Prescripción para la Salud.

Jugadora profesional de Pelota Vasca en la modalidad de Frontenis, Trinquete y Paleta Goma 3 paredes desde los 7 años de edad; a los 12 años empezó sus primeras fases juveniles nacionales y Olimpiadas Nacionales, en 2017 dentro de este proceso clasificó para mi Primer Mundial en Buenos Aires, Argentina obteniendo un 5to Lugar en la modalidad de Trinquete y finalizando esta etapa en 2018 con 13 medallas de oro, 3 medallas de plata y 2 medalla de bronce en Olimpiada Nacional.

A finales de 2018 se clasificó para su Segundo Mundial en Barcelona, España, con el 3er Lugar en el Mundial Absoluto de Pelota Vasca, en la modalidad de Trinquete. En 2019 clasificó en su tercer Mundial en la categoría Sub 22 en la modalidad de Frontenis dobles femenil celebrado en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España donde obtuvo su primera medalla de oro. En este mismo año se celebró en Santa María de Olorón, Francia la Copa Mundial de Trinquete clasificatoria al Mundial Absoluto, obteniendo la medalla de Segundo Lugar y la clasificación a dicho Mundial. El 2021 termina las fases clasificatorias como pareja número 1 junto con su compañera Paulina Castillo en la modalidad de frontenis, seleccionadas para ir a representar a nuestro país a la Copa Mundial de frontón de 30 metros, donde en Septiembre de este mismo año obtuvieron el primer lugar con medalla de oro en Valencia, España.

En este año 2022 está disputando las clasificaciones para el Mundial Absoluto que será realizado en Biarritz, Francia en Octubre de este mismo año. “Junto con mi compañera Paulina Castillo obtuvimos el Primer Lugar en la primera fase Nacional de Frontenis celebrada del 20 al 21 de marzo en San Luis Potosí, México. La Segunda fase será realizada en la Ciudad de México los días 9 y 10 de marzo y esperamos igualmente buenos resultados”, afirma Ximena. “Y la Tercera fase en Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes los días 7 y 8 de mayo”.

The pride of Vallarta in international sports

Ximena Plácito Goche, 23 years old and born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, She currently has a degree in Physical Culture and Sports specialized in Personalized Training, with knowledge of Sports Management, Physical Education.

Professional player of Basque Pelota in the modality of Frontenis, Ratchet and Paddle Rubber 3 walls from 7 years of age; at the age of 12 she began her first entry innational youth and National Olympics comprlions and qualifiers.

In 2017 classified for her First World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina obtaining a 5th Place in the Ratchet mode and ending the 2018 season with 13 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals in the National Olympics. At the end of 2018 she qualified for her Second World Cup in Barcelona, Spain, with 3rd Place in the World Cup Basque Pelota Absolute, in the Ratchet mode. In 2019 she qualified for her third World Cup in the Sub 22 category in the female double racquetball modality held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain where she won her first gold medal. in this same year the Ratchet World Cup was held in Santa María de Olorón, France qualifying for the Absolute World Championship, obtaining the Second Place medal and the qualifying for the World Cup.

2021 ends the qualifying phases as a number 1 couple together with her partner Paulina Castillo in the racquetball modality doubles, selected to represent our country to the 30-meter fronton World Cup, where in September of this year They obtained the first place with a gold medal in Valencia, Spain.

In 2022 she is disputing the qualifiers for the Absolute World Cup that will be held in Biarritz, France in October of this same year. “Together with my partner Paulina Castillo we
obtained the First Place in the first phase of National Frontennis held from March 20 to 21 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The Second phase will be held in Mexico City on March 9 and 10 and we hope for equally good results”, says Ximena. “And the Third phase in Aguascalientes, on May 7 and 8.

 

La imaginación y la técnica de un artista peculiar

Gustavo desde temprana edad descubrió su talento creativo, y hasta ahora ha seguido creciendo debido a su constancia y la pasión en su trabajo. Gustavo López Ochoa es originario de Ocotlán en el Estado de Jalisco y fue en Guadalajara, la ciudad que lo vio crecer donde comenzó a estudiar a los 9 años de edad, dibujo a lápiz en el jardín del arte del Agua Azul, anterior Zoológico Guadalajara. Luego sus acercamientos en la pintura con la maestra María luisa González Arechiga dentro el Foro de Arte y Cultura de esa misma ciudad.

Estudió la carrera de Artes Plásticas en la Universidad de Guadalajara, en el CUAAD de donde egresó como técnico escultor en el año de 1997; posteriormente también obtiene el título como Licenciado en Artes Visuales en el año de 2016. Ya residiendo en Puerto Vallarta, fue profesor de arte en la Preparatoria Regional de la UdeG, así como en el Colegio Niños Héroes, enfocado a materiales como madera y sus dibujos con técnica pastel.

Varias de sus esculturas urbanas de bronce se encuentran en Jalisco, esto es porque están a la intemperie; mientras sus exhibiciones en galerías han sido no sólo a nivel nacional, sino, internacionales como tal es el caso de Santa Bárbara y San Francisco California. Y Estambul Turquía en donde representó a Puerto Vallarta con trabajos de fundición en bronce.

Tiene participaciones urbanas con otros escultores de la talla de Jim Demetrio, Octavio Gonzáles, Ramón Villalobos “Tijelino”, entre varios más. Ha trabajado para los trofeos del Campeonato Internacional de Pesca de Puerto Vallarta y Riviera Nayarit; Gustavo actualmente exhibe y vende su obra en varias galerías de prestigio, tales como Galería UNO y Fábrica de sueños, entre otros foros culturales que abren sus puertas para sus esculturas.

Actualmente vive en Puerto Vallarta donde tiene su taller y estudio creativo, ahí es donde la creatividad despierta y se materializa principalmente en metal, auqnue su pintura también ha resaltado. Imagination and technique of a peculiar artist

Gustavo Lopez Who from an early age discovered his creative talent, and to this day has continued to grow due to his perseverance and passion for his work. Gustavo López Ochoa is originally from Ocotlán in the State of Jalisco and it was in Guadalajara, the city that saw him grow up where began studying pencil drawing at the age of 9 in the Blue Water Art Garden, the previous Zoo of Guadalajara. Then he approached painting with being taught by María luisa González Arechiga in the Art and Culture Forum of that same city.

He went on and studied Fine Arts at the University of Guadalajara, or CUAAD where he graduated as a sculptor technician in 1997; in 2016 he also got the degree as a Bachelor of Visual Arts. As a resident of Puerto Vallarta, he was an art teacher at the UdeG Regional High School, as well as the Colegio Niños Héroes, focused on materials such as wood crafting and drawings with pastel.

Several of his urban bronze sculptures are all over Jalisco, they are in the open air; while his gallery exhibitions have been not only national, but international troops as is the case of Santa Barbara and San Francisco California. Istanbul Turkey where he represented Puerto Vallarta with foundry work in bronze.

He has urban stakes with other sculptors such as Jim Demetrio, Octavio Gonzales, Ramon Villalobos «Tijelino», among several others. He has worked for the trophies of the Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit International Fishing Championships; Gustavo currently exhibits and sells his work in several prestigious galleries, such as the Gallery UNO and Fábrica de sueños, among other cultural forums that open their doors for their sculptures.

He lives in Puerto Vallarta where he has his workshop and creative studio, that’s where his creativity awakens and materializes mainly in metal, although his painting he has also been praised and highlighted.
