Conferencia magistral en la Universidad Vizcaya
El Dr. José Ernesto Rey Cantor, de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, fue invitado por la Universidad para ofrecer una conferencia sobre los derechos y el control de la convencionalidad. El especialista expuso a los estudiantes la indignación que representa para nuestro país el caso de las víctimas de Juárez, implicando al Estado como cómplice de estos atropellos, ya sea por acción o por omisión. Al final, abrió un espacio de preguntas y respuestas y se le entregó un reconocimiento por parte de los directivos de la institución.
Keynote on human rights at the Vizcaya University
Dr. José Ernesto Rey Cantor, of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, was invited by the University to offer a Conference on Rights and control of the conventionality. The specialist explained to the students the outrage that the case of victims of Juarez represents to our country, implying the State as accomplice in these abuses, either by action or by omission. In the end, he opened up a space for questions and answers and was presented with a recognition from the directors of the institution.
