Hoy es un día histórico para Puerto Vallarta, a través de la iniciativa internacional “Fly the Flag/ Íza la bandera”, la Oficina de Proyectos Culturales (OPC) en colaboración con la Comisión Edilicia de Justicia y Derechos Humanos en Puerto Vallarta, izamos la bandera diseñada por el afamado artista chino Ai Weiwei para conmemorar el 75 aniversario de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos. Durante el evento, personajes pertenecientes al ámbito cultural de Puerto Vallarta y y Directores de Instituciones en pro de los Derechos Humanos dieron lectura a los treinta artículos que conforman la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos para recordar que los derechos humanos son para todos, todos los días.

Today is a historic day for Puerto Vallarta. At the initiative of the international “Fly the Flag” project, the Office of Cultural Projects (OPC) in collaboration with the Puerto Vallarta Commission on Justice and Human Rights, we flew the Ai Weiwei designed flag to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. During the event, cultural figures from Puerto Vallarta and Directors of Human Rights Institutions read the thirty articles that make up the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to remind everyone that human rights are for everyone, every day.
